The Scene: The fight with Uub is finished, because Goku realizes he still needs training. So he flies over to the family to say goodbye, and then down to the ground to say goodbye to Vegeta, Trunks, Goten, and Pan-chan. Pan-chan at this point had been getting upset by the very intense fight and then when she heard her favorite Grandpa was leaving she yells, "Grandpa!!" While running toward him, he picks her up to ask what is wrong. (cel)

Why?: LOL well if you haven't visited my collection before I'm sure you will be surprised to know I LOVE ANY cel I can get my hands on from these last few episodes, these episodes are beautifully animated and Goku looks so much better in blue than in orange! I'm just saying! ^_^ When I bought it I was not sure which of the last three episodes it was from. So I commenced watching them, and happily this is one of the last few shots of him and Pan-chan. I would love to get my hands on one of her blushing as well while promising to train hard, you never though there has been a glut of Blue Gi Goku as of late, and I have been taking shameless advantage.

About the Cel: This key cel comes in three layers, and it came with two partial sketches, it was also stored in it's original Toei Bag. This is the first time I have seen a Toei Bag in YEARS, this makes me super happy because they are beyond crappy, but it is also nice to get the bag because it lends credence to the officialness of getting an official sticker with a cel. First thing I did was get it out of the bag, and scan then re-bag the cel with some Microchamber paper, there was definitely some chemically smells coming of it from being stored so long in the bag. I do not usually keep the entire Toei bag because they are usually dirty and gross, so what I usually do is cut the sticker out and store it on the same page as my cel not in the bag with it in the Itoya Binder. ^_^ As you can see I took a scan for posterity. The BG is original unmatching, however I believe it is from somewhere in the episode because of the deep blue of it. Say what you will about DBZ, but some of the BGs produced during it's runs are really gorgeous. Probably why it is so hard to get an original matching BG. Maybe one day I will get around to watching for the BG ... however clouds are really hard to match up LOL!
